Application opens

Students who want to attend Mizzou next Fall can start submitting applications.

FAFSA available

October 1

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) becomes available on Oct. 1. We recommend all students fill out the FAFSA. Mizzou’s FAFSA code is 002516, and our priority deadline is March 1.

Housing info sent to admitted students

Early October

Housing 101, a guide full of residence hall information, will be sent to students who have been admitted to Mizzou for the fall.

Housing application available

November 15

Applying for housing is the first step to living on-campus at Mizzou. All students who have submitted an application for the fall semester are eligible to apply.

Application deadline for scholarships

Dec. 1

You can apply to Mizzou at any time, but you should apply for admission by Dec. 1 to ensure you are able to apply for general and departmental scholarships by Dec. 15. Learn how to Apply.

Once you’ve applied to Mizzou, submit your scholarship application by Dec. 15.

Pay your enrollment fee

Any time

After you’ve been admitted, be sure to pay your $300 enrollment fee.

Set up your myZou account

Any time

After you’ve applied, be sure to set up your myZou account access so you can check your application status.

FAFSA priority deadline

This is Mizzou’s priority deadline for submitting or renewing your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Take myMathTest

February 15

myMathTest is the math placement exam we use to decide which math course you’ll take first. Math placement affects your Freshmen Interest Group options, so take it by April 4 for the most housing choices.

Send your final transcripts

Summer

Send your final transcripts to Mizzou as soon as you’ve finished your courses. Students beginning in Spring or Summer terms should also submit their final transcripts as soon as possible.

Register for Summer Welcome

February

Beginning in February, students admitted for the Fall semester should sign up for Summer Welcome. The priority deadline to sign up is March 24.

Research housing options

Any time

Housing is a multi-step process at Mizzou. Be sure to research our on-campus housing options.

Honors College application deadline

March 1

This is the preferred deadline for students entering in the fall. Fill out the incoming freshman application or the transfer application.

Housing and dining contracts available

April 4

Students admitted for the fall may sign a housing and dining contract. Submitting a contract means you will have secured a room in one of our residence halls.

Housing selection (ROAR) begins

April 10

Students who have signed a Housing & Dining Contract may begin to choose their residence hall rooms through Residents’ Online Access to Rooms (ROAR). The first day you may log in to ROAR is assigned based on the date you submitted your Housing Application.

This award is for high-achieving students who are Missouri residents. Apply for this scholarship.

You can apply for general and departmental scholarships after you’ve applied for admission.

Apply for the Brooks Scholarship

Dec. 15

The George C. Brooks Scholarship is awarded to undergraduate students from ethnic groups that are underrepresented at MU. Apply for this scholarship.
