    Accept your offer of admission

    Head over to your Application Status Page to accept your offer of admission to let us know you choose Mizzou.

    Pay enrollment fee

    Your $300 nonrefundable enrollment fee nrollment fee secures your spot in the incoming class for the upcoming semester.

    Begin the housing process

    Starting on Oct. 5, the Housing & Dining Contract will be available in the Housing Portal and requires a $100 nonrefundable application fee. To stay on track for June room selection, you must complete two key steps by May 1: sign the Housing and Dining Contract, and fill out your housing profile (which opens on March 1).

    Register for orientation and advising

    Watch your email for invitations to register for Summer Welcome Orientation and to schedule an appointment with an academic advisor. Signups open in the spring.

Paying for Mizzou

Financial aid can help make your Mizzou experience more accessible. Apply for admission by Dec. 1 to receive priority consideration for merit scholarships. You can also apply separately by the same deadline for general, competitive, and Honors scholarships, along with other funding options designed to support your education.

At Mizzou, your learning goes beyond the classroom. Through our Missouri Method, you’ll gain real-world experience throughout your undergraduate journey—building skills that connect directly to your future career. You might report in a live newsroom, launch a business, assist in medical settings, conduct research abroad, or teach in local schools. Wherever your interests lead, you’ll start doing meaningful work early.

Your Path to In-State Tuition

For out-of-state students, Mizzou offers you a straightforward path to become a Missouri resident for tuition purposes, which can significantly reduce your overall cost of attendance. Our residency advisors will guide you through the process step by step, making it easy to understand from start to finish.

At Mizzou, we make textbooks simple. Our Early Bird textbook program can have your books delivered right to your door.

At Mizzou, students can stay active and competitive through our 30+ club sports and a wide range of intramural sports leagues, from soccer and basketball to Quidditch and bass fishing. The Mizzou Rec—a 300,00 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility—offers weight training and fitness classes (and a lazy river), giving you even more ways to train, move, and stay healthy.
