Transfer Considerations
General admission to Mizzou does not guarantee admission into an individual degree program, which often has its own admission requirements. Students with 60 or fewer transferable credits who meet general admission requirements, but not the admission requirements of the desired degree program, will be admitted as an Exploring student in the MU Discovery Center.

Mizzou has formal agreements with colleges that simplify the transfer process into certain degree programs.
See the Articulation Agreement and Transfer Guide page to learn more.
Students with 60 transferable credits and an Associate of Arts degree from a regionally accredited community college in Arkansas, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma or Tennessee will automatically meet the general education requirements and enter Mizzou with junior standing.
Students who have completed core transfer curriculum, known as CORE 42, with a 2.0 GPA or better from any of the public (or participating independent) two- and four-year colleges and universities in Missouri will automatically meet the general education requirements.
