Affordability for Missourians

In recent years, MU has reaffirmed its mission as Missouri’s only land grant university, so more Missourians than ever before can access a world-class education.

The Missouri Land Grant provides free tuition for Pell-eligible Missourians.

Missouri residents who apply for admission are also automatically reviewed for scholarships like the Chancellor’s and Curators Awards and the Excellence Award.

Automatic Awards for Missouri Residents

Award details listed below apply to students entering Fall 2023. All awards are renewable provided certain criteria are met. Unless otherwise noted, scholarships may not be combined. Missouri resident scholarships are available to U.S. citizens and permanent residents only.
