Summer Showcase

The University of Missouri Office of Admissions invites you to a day to explore our programs, facilities and scholarship opportunities. You will meet with university faculty and students, participate in special information sessions and take tours of our historic campus.

Additional Information

Check-in is from 7:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. at Memorial Union. Parking arrangements, a map and more detailed program information will be emailed after you make your reservations.

A full schedule will be provided when you check in. Below is a sampling of a few of the sessions offered. The full Scholars Day schedule is comprehensive. You will choose your own schedule based on the sessions that most interest you. Plan to be on campus from 7:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. to get the most out of Summer Showcase.

Information Sessions

Each day will feature informational sessions about the academic departments on campus and other resources that Mizzou offers. These sessions will give you a glimpse of what it is like to study a particular major at Mizzou. Campus tours and additional sessions are also available throughout the day.

Summer Showcase offers a wide variety of sessions that aren’t available during a typical campus visit. It’s also a full day program, so please plan accordingly.

No. The day will be the same for both dates. Choose the one that works best with your schedule.

Yes! Only a limited number of students are allowed to register for each day. Parents and siblings are welcome. If you register but then are unable to attend, please contact us.

You’ll receive a confirmation email with directions, parking instructions and other information regarding the schedule. If you need special accommodations or have questions about your trip to Mizzou, please call our office at 573-882-7786.

Check in begins at 7:30 a.m. on the first floor of Memorial Union. You’ll receive detailed directions and parking instructions by email and in your confirmation packet.

Upon check in, you’ll be assigned an entrance ticket for your first few sessions. From there, the day is yours to explore the wide variety of sessions offered throughout the day. Plan to be on campus all day to get the most out of your visit.

You will choose your sessions based on the times that they are offered. Some repeat several times throughout the day, others are only offered once. You’ll need to decide which sessions best suit your interests. You will not be able to attend every session offered.

Campus tours are also offered throughout the day.

Yes! A complimentary lunch in one of our all-you-care-to-eat dining facilities is provided for all guests. You’ll receive lunch passes for your group when you check in and can eat whenever it works best with your schedule.
