We go big.

As a member of the Southeastern Conference, Mizzou competes on the largest stages, athletically and academically. Homecoming takes on a new meaning at Mizzou—and not just because we invented it! When you choose Mizzou, you join a community rich in history and tradition.

Our Homecoming, the first in the nation, began in 1911 and has grown into a weeklong celebration, including the largest student-run blood drive in the nation, a parade, campus decorations and more spirit than you can shake a Tiger’s tail at.

Why choose Mizzou?

Haley Derdiger

Strategic Communications major from Dallas, TX

"I chose Mizzou because I was looking for a new experience out of state. I am a J-School student, and Mizzou’s program is the best! I loved the college town that COMO had to offer and overall, the community just felt right. So far, Mizzou has been absolutely incredible. Go Tigers!”
