All awards are renewable provided certain criteria are met. Unless noted, none of these scholarships may be combined. For more specific information, visit the Student Financial Aid‘s website.
Students who transfer with 120 or more credit hours are not eligible for automatic transfer scholarships. Automatic transfer scholarships are only available for students who are working on their first bachelor’s degree. Eligibility is evaluated once you’ve been accepted to Mizzou.
First-time college applicants who have taken college credit or earned an AA degree are not eligible for transfer student scholarships.
The scholarships listed below are for transfer students entering Mizzou the Fall 2024 semester.
Automatic Awards
Once you apply to Mizzou, you’ll be automatically considered for a range of scholarships.

*Phi Theta Kappa may be combined with other awards. All scholarships are subject to change without notice. They are not to be regarded as offers to contract.
Scholarships are only applicable to the fall and spring semesters; therefore, students cannot receive these awards in the summer semester. Students starting in the middle of the academic year (Spring term) will receive half of the scholarship award for their first term of entry.
Nonresident scholarships can only be applied to the nonresident portion of tuition. Nonresident Distance transfer students would receive a full or half reduction to the nonresident portion of the Distance Education charges.
Please note: International applicants to Coordinated Undergraduate Degree Programs (CUDPs) in the Missouri School of Journalism are not considered for transfer scholarships.
Students previously enrolled at Mizzou as a degree seeking student are not eligible for transfer scholarships.
