*The estimated direct costs reflected are a standardized estimate of various university charges and educational expenses. These direct costs do not include estimates for books, supplies, residence hall fees and any personal expenses. Amounts are subject to change at any time. However, any tuition or fee increases must be approved by the University of Missouri Board of Curators 30 days prior to the beginning of the academic term. Any approved revision of tuition and fees is effective regardless of whether they have been paid prior to the revision.
Additional Course Fees
Depending on your degree program, there may be additional course fees added to your overall cost of attendance. To see the course fees required by individual departments, visit the Office of Cashier’s website.
Residency
To help reduce the overall cost of attending Mizzou, many out-of-state students become Missouri residents to receive in-state tuition. Gaining residency is straightforward, and staff help students through the process.
