Estimated Costs of Undergraduate Attendance

The tables below show the estimated cost of attendance for the 2023-24 academic year (fall and spring semesters). The estimates below assume that you are enrolled full-time.

The charts below provide an estimated total cost of attendance at Mizzou. The University of Missouri charges a flat tuition rate based on a student’s program of study, permitting a student to take 12-18 credits per term. There are three tiers with $900 being the increment of increase between each tier.

*Many international students do not enroll for the summer term. Therefore, housing, food and personal expenses are included for summer estimated costs, and tuition, fees, books and supplies are excluded from summer cost estimate.

Students are charged a one-time enrollment fee of U.S. $300.

International students studying on an F-1 visa are permitted to work on campus up to 20 hours per week during the fall and spring academic terms. The wage and number of hours per week will vary by position, but the minimum wage is currently $12 per hour.

Residency

To help reduce the overall cost of attending Mizzou, many U.S. out-of-state students become Missouri residents to receive in-state tuition. Gaining residency is straightforward, and staff help students through the process.
