Graduation year: 2006 (master's student)

Hometown: Lakeville, Minn.

Why I came to Mizzou: I chose Mizzou for the reputation of the
J-School.

What I’d tell future Mizzou students: The opportunity for hands-on learning is unbelievable.

Why I became a photographer: Because I love people. It takes all kinds to make the world go ’round, and I get to see ’em all.

Favorite type of photography: I enjoy shooting unique people.

Favorite part of this project: I hung out of the sunroof of my car to shoot the Mizzou cycling team on the road.

What I do in my free time: I enjoy laying on my couch.

Favorite thing to do in Columbia: I like to get outdoors, maybe for a little fishing.

Ideal job: If someone offers me a job, that would be ideal.
