How to Apply
Steps in Applying
  1. You may not be able to visit MU. That’s okay! You can take a virtual tour.

  2. Obtain the International Student Application. You must apply at least six months to one year in advance of the semester you wish to enroll. If you are admitted, the International Student Center (N52 Memorial Union) will send you the appropriate form (I-20 or IAP-66), along with detailed information explaining visa application procedures. The U.S. Consulate where you apply for your visa will inform you if any immunizations are necessary. You can apply online, you can download an application, or you can request a conventional application.

  3. Once you have gathered all the necessary documents, make sure to send us your official TOEFL score and complete the application and return it to our International Admissions Office. Remember, you must apply at least six months before the semester begins.

  4. Have academic transcripts from all schools or colleges you have attended sent to us, along with your application and $60 application fee. More

  5. If you are transferring from an international school, check to see which credits are transferable.

  6. Are you currently enrolled at another school in the United States? If so, you will need to complete the Transfer Recommendation/Release Form. More

  7. Explore costs.
