Important Dates
December 1: If you're applying for Mizzou scholarships, your admissions application and scholarship application are due today.
After December 1: The Free Application for Federal Student Aid for the following school year becomes available. The FAFSA cannot be submitted before Jan. 1.
March 1: The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is due for priority consideration.
After April 1: Eligible students receive award letters for financial aid.
May 1: Last day to submit an admissions application for the following fall. If you wait until this date, limited financial aid is available.

Eligibility for Financial Aid

To be eligible for financial aid from Mizzou, you must meet all of the following requirements:

  • You must enroll at MU in a degree-seeking program. (Students enrolled in the Easy Access Program are not eligible for federal financial aid.)
  • You must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident or eligible non-citizen.
  • You must be making satisfactory academic progress according to Mizzou standards.
  • You must not be in default on any federal educational loan.
  • You must not owe an overpayment on a federal educational grant.
