Graduates of the college work around the world to improve the quality of people’s lives. For instance, the nationally recognized Department of Textile and Apparel Management is ranked one of the top programs of its kind.

The college’s faculty members, five of whom are Fulbright Scholars, have earned national and international research reputations while building coveted programs.

Your Experience
During the first registration period, each student is assigned a faculty adviser to help plan a college program. You do not need to select a major until you have explored the various career possibilities.

Your course work will immerse you in issues relevant to industry and society. And you’ll have access to many special resources, such as:

  • Gallery and display areas for interior design, pre-architecture, and textile and apparel management
  • Modern nutritional biochemistry laboratories
  • An award-winning child development facility

The college works closely with advisory boards composed of leaders in business and manufacturing, education, government, health care, and social service agencies, so you’ll be connected to internships, scholarships and jobs.

You may choose to live in a Freshman Interest Group. More about your FIG options.
