Whether you want to build or create bridges, buildings, computer chips, solar cars or wonder drugs, Mizzou will give you the tools.
In 1849, Mizzou taught the first engineering courses west of the Mississippi River — and we’ve been expanding ever since. Today, you can choose from traditional programs, such as civil and environmental engineering or newer fields, such as biological engineering and information technology.
Hands-on learning and close connections with faculty mentors are hallmarks of the college. Lafferre Hall, the largest academic building on campus, features the most advanced technology available for engineering education.
The College also offers highly competitive co-op and internship opportunities. This real-world work experience puts our graduates in a competitive position for prime careers upon graduation. The education our students receive is the perfect blend of theory, class discussion and practical experience, which is highly valued by prospective employees.
You may choose to live in the Engineering FIG.
